Locations where we offer guided tours
The art collections of Leipzig University can be viewed in various locations. The most popular building is the Paulinum. But the art collection in the rectorate building and the gallery in the Neues Augusteum also look forward to your visit, and we can guide you through the exhibitions on request.

For short visits, we offer tours during the opening hours of the Paulinum every Friday from 2pm to 2.30pm (subject to change).
The exhibition on the ground floor of the rectorate building combines a tour through the history of the University with a cross-section of the collection. Selected highlights of our art collection convey a vivid picture of the eventful history of the University and how it grew over the centuries.
Guided tours outside the opening hours are possible by appointment only.
In the gallery in the Neues Augusteum, we show two to three temporary exhibitions each year during the winter and summer semesters. We work with individual faculties or institutes to create exhibitions on University history or relevant topics. Art exhibitions with external partners are also on the programme.

Tour fees
Group tours during opening hours: €5 per person
Group tours outside opening hours: €7.50 per person
Groups of ten visitors or more are guided; the maximum group size is 20 to 30 people, depending on the venue.
For guided tours outside the building opening hours (in the evening and on weekends), additional fees for security guards and security personnel may apply.
